Take part in a once in a lifetime high-octane Karting event at Sepang International Circuit
Are you the next Formula One World Champion? Would you like to race against a F1 driver? Ahead of the Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix, the Sepang International Circuit is offering a special chance for students to display their potential racing prowess to the test at the Fun Kart Race on April 2.

 

The all-new SIC, host to the Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix for the second decade, has stepped up the ‘Taking Motorsports to Schools’ programme with the design of the chance-of-a-lifetime competition to ensure the Malaysian Grand Prix awareness among Malaysian students.

If you are interested and above the age of 17, the there are just four days left for students to register. Visit www.sepangcircuit.com or contact amanda@khpconsulting.com before 10am on Mar 16 and download the application form, and you could be joining the likes of Michael Schumacher, Kimi Raikkonen and Lewis Hamilton – all the great drivers have honed their skills on a Karting track.

Entry is available to all colleges registered in Malaysia, and each college is allowed to send a maximum of 10 students per institution to the two qualifying sessions on March 21 and 28. The top three drivers from each heat will then have the chance to race against Formula 1, GP2 Asia and Formula BMW Pacific teams in the grand final on April 2 at the Sepang Go-Kart Circuit.

The educational treat does not stop there. Students are entitled to buy race day tickets at price of as low as RM 50.
