The Paddock Club Pit Walk session at the Sepang International Circuit today was abuzz with the arrival of Bollywood superstar Datuk Shah Rukh Khan at 5pm today.

Rumours of his arrival began circling around the circuit on his impending arrival, with photographers and reporters anxiously waiting to capture the moment of his arrival at SIC.

He arrived at KLIA earlier this morning and was taken on a tour of the circuit, accompanied by SIC chairman Datuk Mokhzani Mahathir and SIC CEO Razlan Razali.

He also took the time to visit the Lotus Racing Team where he met with Datuk Seri Tony Fernandez and HRT team driver Karun Chandok

Meanwhile, the weather brought the qualifying race to a halt today. When asked to comment on the weather conditions at the track, FOM’s Pasquale Lattunedu said “The weather’s actually brilliant. It makes the track even more challenging for the drivers, and this would make the race more interesting.”

Later in the evening, around 200 breakdancers scheduled to be performing for the opening ceremony tomorrow were busy practicing their moves. The breakdancers were the ones who were selected after undergoing the auditions held around the Klang Valley.

If events at the circuit today are an indication of what it will be tomorrow, the 2010 Formula One PETRONAS Malaysian Grand Prix will definitely be a blast!
