In support of the Government’s drive for funds to help the Rumah Anak-anak Yatim dan Anak-anak Hidayah Madrasah Al-Taqwa after the Hulu Langat landslide disaster on 21 May 2011, Sepang International Circuit (SIC) together with Motorsport Asia Ltd (MAL), organizers of the Asian Festival of Speed (AFOS), will embark on the “Hulu Langat Landslide Disaster Fund Raiser Drive” a special charity initiative at the upcoming AFOS event at Sepang on 28-29 May.  
Following the announcement by BMW Motorsport today that they are to axe the Formula BMW Series, Motorsport Asia who have been the Formula BMW Pacific Series Organiser and Promoter since its inception, announced the continuation of the Series in an independent form.
Malaysian driver Mok Weng Sun had a perfect weekend during the Season Opener of the GT3 Asia today on his home circuit. The Team PCS Racing driver claimed back to back wins during the Asian Festival Of Speed at Sepang International Circuit.
Twenty three drivers have confirmed their participation in the GT3 Asia series held during the Asian Festival Of Speed season opener held this 15-16 May weekend at Sepang International Circuit. The drivers, from Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Canada, Chinese Taipei and Sri Lanka, will be competing in some of the best Supercars seen on the roads today.
The Asian Festival of Speed is back to heat up the track for an exciting 2010 Season Opener at Sepang International Circuit on 15-16 May 2010. Fans will get a chance to witness five action packed race series with the GT3 Asia, Formula BMW Pacific, Asian Touring Car Series and the newly introduced GT4 Asia Cup. The weekend will also see the exhilarating Classic Car Club of Hong Kong Race Series joining in the already packed schedule of on track events.
This past weekend of 10th-11thApril, marked the beginning of the GT3 Asia and the GT4 Asia Cup 2010 season, when drivers and teams from the two series turned up at the Sepang International Circuit for a joint preliminary test session.

As most of Australian motorsport has its attention to the Formula 1™ ING Australian Grand Prix this weekend, Australia’s Formula BMW Junior - Chris Wootton - heads to Malaysia to finalize preparations for his quest to become the Formula BMW Pacific Champion. The 20-year-old will arrive in the humidity of Kuala Lumpur for final testing across the Australian Grand Prix weekend, with the first round of the Formula BMW Pacific Series to be held in conjunction with the Formula 1™ PETRONAS Malaysian Grand Prix the following weekend - April 2-5.
Gary Thompson topped the times in testing at Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia yesterday as the teenager from Donabate, Dublin began his final week of testing ahead of his car racing debut in the 2009 Formula BMW Pacific series next month. In a late change of plans, Thompson has switched to Malaysian based E-Rain Racing squad for the coming season and the 16-year-old celebrated his change of team colours by setting the pace at the Formula One venue.
